Colourpop Haul

Happy Beauty Tuesday!

Today I am going to share my latest Colourpop haul with you all.
As you know, I have already tried the Ultra Matte Lip formula and fell in love. They are as good (or even better) than the more expensive brands out there for a fraction of the cost. You can read about my first review here. This time around I wanted to try the new Ultra Satin lips and the Lippie stix. I am so happy I did because I am in love! Lippie stix come in different finishes but, I only purchased a cream in the shade Fiesta and a glossy in the shade Easy. These remind me of Chapstick as far as texture and smoothness but with an opaque pigment to them. I really love these two and will be ordering more now that I know I love them! They also smell really yummy. Think vanilla crossed with a marshmallow!

The ultra satin lips have no fragrance and are very pigmented just like the mattes. They are a bit thicker almost like a cream whereas the mattes are more liquidy. The satin formulation is transferable and will smudge like regular lipstick. However, it is long lasting! The description from colourpop says "our Ultra Satin Lip is a lightweight, bold lipstick with a satin finish and a crazy high percentage of pigments for extra intense color saturation."  Keep reading after the jump to see some swatches!

The swatches on the left are some of the original ultra mattes that I already had. I could not find them all at the time of swatching but, I did want to include a point of color "reference" for those of you who may already have some of them. Like this, you can see if a newer shade is pinker, browner, bluer etc.. compared to what you already have. Everything on the right is new. The top 2 are Lippie Stix, then, there are 2 ultra matte lips and finally the new ultra satin lips.

I feel like Lyin' King is the satin version of the matte Scrooge. They are not identical in color but they are pretty close. The Rabbit is a bright Fuchsia with a hint of blue shimmer to it. It reminds me of the Too Faced Melted liquid lipstick in the shade Melted Fuchsia. Panda may be my go to fall color. It is a deep plum color perfect for the colder months. London Fog is a very pretty Blue Red. Echo park may be one of the more popular nudes and I can definitely see why. It is similar to Magic Wand but it does have more of a dusty rose tint to it whereas Magic wand is a bit more on the yellow side. Both are gorgeous nudes. For the Lippie Stix, I love both Easy and Fiesta. Fiesta is more of a peachy color and Easy is a barbie pink but a bit softer. I typically wear these types of colors in the summer for everyday looks.

After swatching all of these I realized I love EVERY single one! I have a feeling I will be grabbing More Better the most. I actually purchased this one after I saw a friend wearing it. I then looked through Instagram to see other swatches and this color was hands down one of the most flattering colors on all skin tones. I really want DOPEY but it is sold out. I promise to swatch it when I get my hands on it! I have 3 more colors headed my way and already can't wait to receive them!

You can purchase all of these on the colourpop website. Follow me on Instagram @cgarc35 to catch me wearing them in my day to day life :) I hope these swatches help you in choosing your lippies! Have a beautiful day!

XoXo, Chris
